Commission work for me!! So excited..

So, I've had my etsy page and every now and then if someone likes your work they'll ask you to make something for you. Well, I got an e-mail today from a very talented fellow named Ryan. He's drawn a character of a monkey and asked me to make a plush out of it. How awesome is that?? Right now I am awaiting his response to see if he'd still like for me to do this for him, if so I'll be so excited, anxious, and nervous. Mainly nervous because I'll help bring this character to life (in plush form), so I want to get it right and I want it to look exactly as he imagined it.

I was just really excited and wanted to share it with you all. :)
Here's a small picture of the lil guy I'd be making.

Got my candies from Kat from the UK

Well, it took some time but it finally got here! Wooo-hooo. We were starting to think that the package got lost in the mail, but luckily it showed up today. So far I've only tasted the Galaxy chocolate bar (b/c I'm a chocolate fiend), but I'm going to try and wait to try the rest for when my boyfriend gets home. He's just as excited about it, hehe.

Tim Burton themed Swap

I'm a pretty big fan of Tim Burton's work, so naturally when someone on CO&K wanted to do this swap I signed up. Usually on these swaps people take pictures of the items they received (but this doesn't always happen). So now I make sure to take pictures of everything before I mail them out.
And here we go...

One: Stuffed Oogie Boogie
Two:  Beetlejuice picture frame (polymer clay sandworm)
Three: Alice in Wonderland necklaces and 2 Nightmare Before Christmas magnets
Four: Alice in Wonderland Necklace
Five: Edward Scissorhand trinket box
Six: Inside of trinket box

At my job we came up with idea for baskets to have in our rooms for Valentines Day (for extra monies of course). So my boss and I went shopping for some goodies and this is what we came  up with. Not too shabby, huh?? I'll post a couple more pictures of the finished product today. :)

Zombie Cake!!

I made this cake for my brother today for his birthday. (Happy Birthday Lukey) I tried this new chocolate silhouette idea for the zombies and it turned out really great. Here's the tutorial on cutoutandkeep.net, http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/choc-zombie-silouhette
